The main objective of organizing Lika’s, is to shed light on crucial causes in this country and to discuss them in order to bring about awareness thus enabling individuals to become involved as initiators, and later on ambassadors and crucial actors of these causes. In this project, there are 10 Lika’s to be implemented in Beqaa, Tripoli, Akkar, Jbeil and Beirut with a diverse group of 18 to 30 aged Lebanese and Syrians, 70% women and 30% men. Topics are mainly around the role of youth and women in public affairs, social cohesion and integration, discrimination, etc. The pilot consisted of two Lika’s around the parliamentary elections of 2018.
