Min ila hosted the Lebanon Debating Society (LDS) initiative that was formed as a unifying and neutral platform which believes in fair, transparent and information-driven dialogue as a driver of political reform. The main objective of the LDS is to overcome sectarian political discourse and inter-community divides via mobilizing local capacity and promoting informed public dialogue through debate on the critical issues and potential policies to address them. The first live streamed national competition took place in February 2022 with 35 candidates and was screened in more than 10 locations across the country.
